To learn and practice Health Qigong, we must first understand the special features of breathing in the practice of Health Qigong, and learn to practice breathing as a key subject in the study of Health Qigong.
1. How does Qigong breathe?
Abdominal breathing
This is the common breathing method used in Qigong. It is conducive to the accumulation, storage and transfer of internal air. Abdominal breathing is generally divided into natural abdominal breathing and deep long abdominal breathing, the latter transitioning from the former. Deep long abdominal breathing can be divided into cis and reverse.
The abdominal muscles relax when inhaling, and the anterior wall of the abdomen gradually bulges as the diaphragm falls. 2, the basic requirements of Qigong breathing
Qigong's breathing, no matter what the way, consists of four actions: inhalation, exhalation, breath holding and stopping.
